Teen strength + mobility · Brookvale
A structured 10-week program for teenagers aged 12–17 — combining mobility, progressive strength and movement skills in a supportive small-group environment.
Inside a session

A movement-based training system
Teenagers are moving through a period of rapid physical and emotional change. They benefit from structured training that teaches them how to control their body, build strength progressively and take on physical challenges with confidence.
Falsegrip Teens adapts our movement-based training system for younger bodies — giving teenagers a clear, coached place to develop physical capability without needing to identify as a gymnast or competitive athlete.
Develop usable range of motion and learn to control positions rather than simply stretching into them.
Build strength through progressive bodyweight and resistance-based movements scaled to the individual.
Develop coordination, body control and confidence through challenging movement — including gymnastics-based tools where appropriate.
What they will develop
Learn to create, hold and control positions with more confidence — not just move through them.
Understand how the body moves, where effort should go and how to approach a new challenge.
Build the confidence that comes from practising something difficult and gradually getting better at it.
Experience exercise as something purposeful, challenging and rewarding — not punishment or comparison.
What happens in a session
Sessions are structured so teenagers know what they are doing, why they are doing it and how to progress safely. Every movement can be adjusted to suit the person in front of us.
Build awareness, joint control and the range of motion needed for the session.
Develop strength through clear progressions, appropriate loading and good positions.
Use the foundations in movement skills that are interesting, challenging and worth learning.
Why Falsegrip
Falsegrip was founded by former elite gymnast Dan Arnold and has coached movement-based strength and mobility since 2015.
The program is built around progressive training, clear instruction and respect for where each person is starting. Teenagers will be challenged, but they will not be thrown into movements they are not ready for.
What parents are saying
Falsegrip has helped young people build strength, mobility, skills and confidence through consistent coaching — while still making training enjoyable.
