Keiran grew up playing Cricket and footy, but his favourite sport was Taekwondo.

“I achieved my junior black belt next to my Dad, which was the first time I saw him cry. It was a big moment because we had trained together to help my confidence grow, and he showed me what it was like to be a vulnerable male role model. I am so grateful to him for his commitment to that achievement.

As an adult, I competed at the National and International level. I had my face kicked in by an Olympian. I made the decision to preserve my braincells, by retiring from the sport as a competitor, and pursuing coaching and kicking tricks.

As a coach I fell in love with teaching pre-schoolers. I had such a positive relationship with exercise thanks to my wonderful coaches, and I loved that I could pay this forward.”

Keiran started training with Falsegrip as a member in early 2019 and joined the Coaching Team in mid 2020.

Favourite Falsegrip class: Hip Prehab. I love the way my body responds to mobilising my hips.

Third-degree black belt under the International Taekwondo Federation.
