Betsy grew up with a love of movement. Dance was her pasion, where she competed at a high level in the UK. Her speed and power came from competing in athletics – sprinting 100m in just 14 seconds, not bad for 150cm of pure muscle. She also loves horse riding, swimming and netball throughout her school and university years. She found the gym in her early 20s and has never looked back!

Betsy has been a competitor on Australian Ninja Warrior multiple times. Better know there by her on-screen name ‘The Disco Ninja’!

Betsy started training with Falsegrip as a member in early 2016 and joined the Coaching Team in early 2018.

Favourite Falsegrip class: Anything Stretch! I love strength training in rings and handstand classes but I can never pass up a stretch class. I particularly love long passive holds with contractions in the end ranges, to get even more out of the position.

When I’m not at Falsegrip you can find me…
Out in nature. Spending time upside down in the sun, walking doggies or catching the sunrise and sunset with my crystals and journal. I also spend a lot of time with my family and friends and the odd Margie here and there!
